STRUCTURE AND ORGANISATION

The Oral Sources section is an archive of oral sources from business and labour which aims to concentrate, safeguard and exploit the corresponding oral testimonies relating above all to the history of labour and the economy in Liguria and amongst its population.
The multidisciplinary methodological approach benefits from the collaboration of the Centro per la Cultura d’Impresa (centre for business culture) and Archivio di Etnografia e Storia Sociale (ethnographic and social history archive) in Milan, and more generally from the experience of the Italian and international scientific communities..
For those aspects more closely related to archival methodology, the initiative benefits from the scientific contribution of the Archival Superintendency for the Region of Liguria.

This section, which got underway in July 2006 with the initiative “La Liguria del saper fare si racconta®”, also includes the following collections: “Archivio storico Ansaldo”; “Fondazione Gerolamo Gaslini”; “La storia nel futuro”; “Primocanale - I miei primi settant'anni”; “Ragazze di Fabbrica” and “Salvatore Vento”.

Each collection can be viewed in digital format in a dedicated, specially equipped area within the Ansaldo foundation. The accounts are accompanied by explanatory biographies, with each account including personal and biographical data.
The “Cercamemoria” and “Lavoro & Lavori” collections have also been acquired.
