This archive contains documents belonging to Alessandro Puri, chief executive of Ansaldo and some shipping companies in the 1920s, and was donated by his son Ambrogio Puri.

It contains: charters and reports for Ansaldo and various shipping companies, for which there are also other documents such as contracts and agreements, minutes of the board and shareholders' meetings, various correspondence and papers relating to the crisis in Ansaldo after the Great War and the subsequent corporate restructuring. There are also magazines and press cuttings on various topics. The archive is preserved on microfilm.
